OREANDA-NEWS. February 15, 2011. The contribution of Gazprom and its affiliates to the authorized capitals of the companies in the banking and financial sectors efficiently facilitate the implementation of production and financial tasks of the concern, reported the press-centre of Belgazprombank.

The Board of Directors of Gazprom has taken into account the Appraisal Report on economic efficiency of contribution to banks.

Gazprombank OJSC and Belgazprombank OJSC including Gazprom as their shareholder are the largest companies in the banking and financial sector.

Gazprombank OJSC renders a wide range of banking services for Gazprom Group including performance of intragroup settlements and organization of an intragroup liquidity management system. 41.725% of the bank’s shares belong to Gazprom.

Belgazprombank OJSC is authorized to perform settlements between Gazprom and resident companies of Belarus. The bank also provides bank servicing for Gazprom branches operating in Belarus. 49.02% of the bank’s shares belong to Gazprom.

The Board of Directors of Gazprom has authorized the board of the company to continue activities which increase investment profitability of Gazprom and its affiliates to authorized capitals of the companies in the banking and financial sector.
