OREANDA-NEWS. February 11, 2011. The municipal budget revenues will total 1,889 million leis, expenses – 2,310 million leis. 73.559 million leis of the total revenues will be made up by the transfers from the state budget. The deficit (420 million leis) is supposed to be covered by funds received from sale and privatization of public ownership (134.1 million leis) and loans from foreign financial organizations (286.4 million leis).

Most funds will be spent for social needs – 1.193 million leis (51.7%). They are followed by economic expenses – 589.6 million leis (25.5%); capital investments – 230.4 million leis (10%), other sectors – 296.3 million leis (12.8%).

Most municipal expenses in the social sector will be spent for education – 889.539 million leis, insurance and social assistance – 198.568 million leis, public order – 104.822 million leis. 90.501 million leis will be allocated for culture, 50.400 million leis – for compensations for transport.

According to the head of the Municipal Council Gennady Dumanschi, it is the best budget for the last 4 years.
