OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2011. The breakdown happened in the converter workshop of Enakievo Steelworks at the beginning of the week. It brought to a complete standstill the steelmaking facilities, and reduced to the minimum the operations of the blast furnaces. The plant is to resume normal operations in 3-4 days, according to the Association of Ukrainian Steelmakers.

Millennium Capital: the news is NEGATIVE for Enakievo steelworks. The week-long breakup in production is to reduce the plant’s February steel output by at least 25%. The scope of the breakup can be more serious, as the issue is not publicly commented, and it may take longer for the company to resume normal operations.
