Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrate Plant Doubled Output in 2010
OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2011.In 2010 the output of nuclear fuel powder and pellets at Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrate Plant (NCCP) was doubled. Among other results of the year is improved quality of the supplied products, and newly launched areas of the plant's activities, including a new investment project, i.e. production of a cathode material for lithium-ion batteries, being implemented jointly with the State Corporation ROSNANO and the fuel company TVEL Ltd.
The outcomes of the plant activities were reported by the NCCP Director General Vladimir Rozhkov at the first-round TVEL Company Managers Meeting of 7-8 February in Novosibirsk. The meeting was chaired by TVEL President Yuri Olenin.
At the meeting the NCCP top-managers presented their reports on the main company results in the year 2010, further implementation of the New Look Programme, and the planned technical renewals in the years 2011 - 2015. In particular, it was noted that the labour efficiency value achieved at the plant exceeded that established as a key efficiency indicator by almost 9%; the actual energy consumption decreased by 7.5% as compared with the volumes of the year 2009; the average monthly salary increased by more than 13% as compared with the level of the year 2009 and is now 34 190 rubles.
When summing up at a meeting with the plant management, department and division heads, Yu. Olenin expressed his gratitude to the personnel for their good work and stressed that the main goal for NCCP today is compliance with the best world's indicators in terms of the product quality.
