OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2011.  The subsidiary company of JSC Ventpsils nafta (VN) – Ventspils naftas terminals Ltd (VNT) has transshipped 0,842 million t cargo turnover in the first month of 2011, which is 9% more than the average monthly cargo turnover in the terminal in 2010, when an average 0.75 million t per month was transshipped. 75% of all transshipped product was gasoil , delivered to the terminal via pipeline and railroad.

The core business of the terminal is the transshipment of oil and oil products and the cargo turnover is directly linked to the global market, as well as the quality of the service. The management of VNT is confident that the geogrpahic location of the terminal, combined with the investments made in modernization, as well as work on safety and the environmental, will ensure high quality, competitive service for the terminal in the future.
