OREANDA-NEWS. February 10, 2011. Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine is in talks with trade companies and the Chinese Embassy on purchase buckwheat groats for Ukraine. About it the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Prysyazhnyuk reported today on briefing.

"We are now holding talks with trade companies and the Chinese Embassy ... and will be sent a representative from the department of food in order to conclude an agreement for the supply of cereals", - emphasized Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.

The Minister noticed that currently studied buckwheat supply the necessary volumes to Ukraine. According to Mykola Prysyazhnyuk, these volumes will be within 15-20 tons, in order that we may have carry-over that we had in the state reserve pool of cereals, as she is today defined as being subject to state regulation.

The Minister for Agricultural Policy and Food also noted that there are orders of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov to prepare documents to 1 November, aimed at exemption from import duties and value added tax buckwheat groats". So we go to the pricing of buckwheat groats somewhere in the range of 13-14 UAH", - emphasized Mykola Prysyazhnyuk.
