MSE to Sell Public Shares in Joint-Stock Companies
OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2011. Shareholdings in 33 joint-stock companies from different branches of economy will be put up for sale, according to the Agency for Public Property with the Ministry of Economy. Shareholdings in 18 enterprises make up over 50% of the authorized capital, in the rest of the enterprises – 0.457% and 45.065%.
The matter concerns three tobacco fermenting factories from the towns of Orhei, Soldanesti, Cupcini, a cannery from Glodeni, enterprises Raut (Balti), Apromas (Edinet), Artmet (Chisinau), Agat (Chisinau), the hotel Jolly Alon, Cereale-Cahul JSC, the joint Moldovan-Luxembourg enterprise Volatil-West Company, Mioara JSC, FabindLapte JSC, Nord-Zahar, Ungheni-Vin. Also, four shareholdings in the Eurocreditbank – 4.204% each – are offered for sale.
Practically all shareholdings have been put up for sale few times. That is why, the initial cost of some of them was reduced. Shareholdings of eight joint-stock companies in the amount of 20.29 million leis were sold at the last auction held on December 7-10, 2010.
