AMT BANK Cancels Fines under Loans to Individuals 90 Days Overdue
OREANDA-NEWS. February 09, 2011. AMT BANK is holding an action for troubled borrowers called Vesenny Podarok (Spring Present). If, within the term of the action, the borrower repays overdue fees, interest and principal amount, then the Bank cancels all of fines and penalty fees, which accrued but were not repaid by the customer under the loan, reported the press-centre of AMT BANK.
Those individual borrowers can take part in the action, whose indebtedness under their loans is overdue more than 90 days given that there is neither court nor enforcement proceedings in progress against them.
- Penalty fees and fines, which the Bank adds on the amount of an overdue loan and interest for its utilization, may be considerable. That is why the action gives borrowers the opportunity to restructure their loans on preferred conditions and allows the Bank to reduce the number of troubled assets, - says Sergey Pilyaev, Executive Director at AMT BANK.
The procedure of formalizing restructurings of deals with participants in the Vesenny Podarok action will take place in a simplified form on the basis of a respective application from the customer.
