AeroSvit Launches Scheduled Flights from Ukraine Capital to Krakow
OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2011. AeroSvit - Ukrainian Airlines launches flights between Kiev and Krakow, the second largest city of Poland in terms of its territory and population. The Ukrainian carrier commences to operate the new route on March 1st, 2011, performing 4 flights per week - on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Travel time between the cities is about 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The route will provide services for business, ethnic and tourist groups traveling to the Polish city which has been the state’s capital for several centuries and can boast a unique historic, cultural and architectural heritage.
At Borispol, the Ukrainian carrier’s base airport, the flight to Krakow will be connected with AeroSvit’s routes from the largest cities of Ukraine, including Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lugansk, Lvov, Odessa, Sevastopol, Simferopol and Kharkov, as well as with international flights from New York, Toronto, Beijing, Bangkok, Tel Aviv, Istanbul, Almaty, Baku, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Dubai, Athens, Chisinau, Sofia and other cities.
