OREANDA-NEWS. February 08, 2011. Quantity of cash-dispensers in the Azerbaijan Republic as of 1 January 2011 was 1892 pieces. As compared with the same period of last year this index increased by 198 pieces. As of 1 January of the current year 1053 cash-dispensers are located in Baku, 839 of them in other cities and regions, reported the press-centre of CBA.

In this period the number of Pos-terminals in the Azerbaijan Republic was 7872. Currently, 7069 pos-terminals are located in Baku city, 803 of them are in other regions.

Payment cards in circulation in the Azerbaijan Republic as of 1 January 2011 totaled to 4231 thousand pieces. As compared with the same period of last year this index increased by 6%. The quantity of bank operations made through payment cards and pos-terminals was 5240 thousand. Of which 96% was through debit cards.
