OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2011. Russian Tennis Federation and Ingosstrakh OJSIC signed a partnership agreement for 2011. For the tenth time the insurance company will act as the insurer and the General Partner of XXII International Tennis Tournament “Kremlin Cup 2011” which is held from October 15, 2011 till October 23, 2011 in Moscow. Besides, Ingosstrakh OJSIC received the status of the partner of all matches of Davis Cup and Federation Cup which are to be held in the Russian capital this year (except of the finals).

Ceremonial signing of the partnership agreement between the insurance company and Russian Tennis Federation was held in the Olympiysky Sports Complex. “It is a great privilege for us; we have been friends with the Russian Tennis Federation, one of the oldest national and internationally recognized sports associations, during more than 10 years. And we are very glad to contribute to the business of Russian tennis support and development. I am sure the oncoming tennis tournaments will be a real holiday for the Russian supporters and all fans of this beautiful and spectacular sport,” Ilya Solomatin, vice-president of Ingosstrakh OJSIC declared at the ceremony.“Long-term co-operation with Ingosstrakh OJSIC is our foundation of stability and confidence. Undoubtedly, the future of Russian tennis is largely dependent on financial support of national business. And I am pleased that our collaboration with Ingosstrakh OJSIC, it’s an example of a reliable partnership in the field of Russian tennis development. I hope this will become the guide for action for lots of people,” Shamil Tarpishchev, President of the Russian Tennis Federation said.

It should be noted that Ingosstrakh OJSIC plays an active part in many sports events, and tennis is in special relationship with the company. In particular, in 2010 the insurer supported tournament ”Legends of Tennis in Moscow”, held for the first time, as well as matches of 1/8 of the Davis Cup, Russia–India and the quarter-final of the Davis Cup, Russia–Argentina. In 2009 the company acted as a partner of the quarter-final of the Fed Cup, Russia–China, in 2008 – quarter-final of the Davis Cup, Russia-Czech Republic and 1/8 final of the Cup of Davis, Russia – Serbia. In 2007, Ingosstrakh OJSIC supported the semifinal match of the Davis Cup between the national teams of Russia and Germany, and in 2006, the final match of the Davis Cup between Russia and Argentina. No less bright page in tennis history of Ingosstrakh OJSIC fear was insurance of the famous “Silver salad bowl” during it stay in Russia in 2006-2007. Moreover, in 2008 Ingosstrakh OJSIC supported the ceremonial events dedicated to 100th anniversary of the Russian Tennis Federation. Among others, company published the album “Milestones of Victories”, which included the unique historical pictures from the archives of the Federation. Within the celebration, there were held contests with participation of veterans, juniors, tennis players in wheelchairs. In general, with the assistance of the company about hundred of the Russian Tennis Tour tournaments have been held, including two dozen international tournaments.

Let us remember that last year Ingosstrakh OJSIC and the Sochi 2014 Organizing Committee signed the agreements, under which the insurance company received the official status of the Partner of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and the XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi. Besides, Ingosstrakh OJSIC will also be a partner of the Olympic and Paralympics Committees of Russia (until the end of 2016) and Partner of the Olympic and Paralympic Russian team (relating to each team of Olympics 2012, 2014 and 2016) in the category “Insurance”.

Russian Tennis Federation is a well-known leader of the national and international tennis. On January 1, 2011 RTF associates more than 70 regional tennis federations. Over two thousand events of various ranks, from amateur to big international, are held in the country annually. During five successively years (2005-2009) RTF was honored the highest award of the European Association of Tennis, Tennis Europe – European Tennis Trophy, on total of victories in the professional, junior, veteran tennis and in tennis in wheelchairs.
