OREANDA-NEWS. February 07, 2011. Russian EMERCOM plans to arrange monitoring of the transport vehicles, including those used to transport hazardous cargo, with the help of GLONASS/GPS navigation systems.

The Ministry also intends to improve its accident response system through uniting data bases and control capabilities, in order to maintain automatic monitoring and prompt responding.
