Service-Invest (DTEK) Completed UAH 55 mn Reconstruction
OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2011. In 2010,Service-Invest Company (DTEK) completed the reconstruction of five substations providing services to large industrial consumers of Donetsk Region, and commissioned a new electricity transmission line. The cost of works was UAH55m.
The 110 kV outdoor switchgears of Donetskaya-110 kV, Ugledar-110 kV, Chulkovka-110 kV substations, as well as the 35 kV outdoor switchgear of Druzhkovka-110 kV substation were reconstructed. Those substations secure power supply to Donetsk Iron and Steel Works, Chemical Recovery Coal Carbonization Equipment Plant, Astra Donmash, Druzhkovskiy Gas Equipment Plant, Druzhkovskiy Hardware Plant, mines, heating networks and water supplying companies, and to the adjacent licensee Donetskoblenergo. Furthermore, two new power transformers of 40 MVA each were commissioned at Styla-110 kV substation (Novotroitskiye electric networks). To ensure power reliability, up-to-date equipment of leading global manufacturers (Germany, Russia) was installed at all the substations.
The 35 kV Amvrosievka-Metallist overhead electricity transmission line was commissioned after a phased reconstruction. The line supplies electricity to some enterprises and households of Amvrosievka town. New ferroconcrete and metal towers were installed during the reconstruction, and a new wire was assembled.
‘The long-term substations’ reconstruction programme aims to replace the obsolete equipment made in the 1950s with the state-of-the-art equipment of the best international manufacturers. The reconstruction enabled us to significantly improve the quality of power supply to Service-Invest consumers, on the stable operation of which the economic development of the Eastern region depends. Apart from the further reconstruction of its substations and overhead transmission lines, in the near future, the Company plans to construct new modern substations’, Valeriy Mostsipan, the General Director of Service-Invest LLC (DTEK) said.
