OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2011. Non-bank credit organization Aqrar-Kredit is ready to begin financing a new-for-itself industry in agriculture.

Mammad Musayev, ASK chair and chairman of board of Aqrar-Kredit, has said at today’s press conference at the headquarters of Yeni Azerbaijan Partiyasi (ruling party YAP) that in 2011 they are planning to work actively for financing family farms.

"This form of ownership has a clear legal basis and is recorded by municipalities," Musayev said.

By early 2011 the country numbered 850,798 family farms, which owned the major part of agricultural lands in Azerbaijan.
