OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2011. The volume of building and assembly works fulfilled by contracting agencies in January-December 2010 totaled 4,011.8 million leis, up 5.8% against 2009. According to data of the National Statistics Bureau, the new objects construction works dominate in the structure of the works – in the amount of 2,518.5 million leis constituting 62.8% of the total volume of fulfilled works and 7.1% more than in January-December 2009. 745.9 million leis or 18.6% of all works fell to the share of capital repairs.

The current repair works were fulfilled in the amount of 668.4 million leis – 16.7% of the total volume of works.

Most works were fulfilled by economic agents of the private ownership form. They fulfilled contract works in the volume of 3,353.5 million leis (83.6% of the total volume of fulfilled works).
