GDP Growth in Russia Made 159,2% in Ten Years, FBK
OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2011. FBK audit and consulting company calculated growth of Russian GDP in the first decade of the 21st century. From 2001 to 2010 the growth of real GDP in the RF made 159,2%, reported the press-centre of FBK.
"Hence the GDP doubled in the decade slightly more than by a half, - states Igor Nikolaev, Director of FBK’s Strategic Analysis Department. At the same time, references to the global financial crisis should be swept away: even without the disastrous 2009, the shortfall is too large. Moreover the crisis “somehow” did not stop other countries.” Growth of GDP of China in 10 years made 262,1%, of Kazakhstan – 221%, of Belarus – 202,7%.
According to the analyst, the result of the calculation makes the conclusion obvious: the task “doubling GDP by 2010” took its place among such objectives as building communism by 1980 and “a separate flat to every family by 2000”.
