National Bank of Uzbekistan Serves More than 2,37 mn Clients
OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2011. The activity of the bank holding the title "national" is directly connected with all processes and changes in state's economy. The principles of the National Bank of Uzbekistan remain immutable – to react tactfully on requirements of every client and local economy as a whole.
Carrying out the mission imposed by state government, the National Bank of Uzbekistan is actively attracting foreign investments for the support of exports and import-replacing productions and rendering a wide range of high quality banking services.
Today NBU is the largest bank of the country with a charter fund of 811 billion soums and assets worth 6.9 trillion soums. The stable growth of the client base proves the bank's policy accuracy. The number of bank's clients increased from 1,945,256 in 2009 to 2,374,500 in 2010.
One of foreground tasks of the National Bank of Uzbekistan is client business development. High quality fast servicing, a wide range of offered operations, such as turnover and main capital financing, conversion services, investment services, credit lines, trade financing, Bank-client distant servicing and others – is a guarantee of efficiency and reliability. Moreover, the bank offers opening and managing accounts of legal entities, payments, a wide range of information services.
Enterprises of power and energy complex, extractive industries, textile and food industries, construction are among bank's largest clients. Today NBU's network consists of 90 branches and offices in all regions of the country.
The National Bank of Uzbekistan arranged and maintains relations with over 600 largest foreign financial institutions in 75 states of the world, due to that the bank has a high reputation in the international banking society.
The evidence of it is that NBU was repeatedly awarded with prestigious international awards. International rating agencies such as Moody's and Standard and Poor's, largest Russian rating agency Expert RA assigned and confirmed ratings to NBU.
