OREANDA-NEWS. February 04, 2011. Asaka state joint-stock commercial bank takes measures to implement the Presidential Resolution "On additional measures to stimulate the development of settlement systems using bank plastic cards" dated 19 April 2010.

As of 1 January 2011 the bank emitted 648,000 plastic cards, exceeding last year index by 182,000 items. The bank installed 6,368 terminals, out of them 6,031are trade terminals, 219 – public and 118-cash terminals. Moreover the bank additionally purchased nine ATMs and 21 infokiosks to increase the quality of bank servicing.

As of 1 January 2011 total volume of operations with Asaka bank's plastic cards amounted to 497.6 billion soums, adding 189.9 billion soums as against the same period of the last year.
