Freight One Increased Haulage on North Caucasian Railway in 2010
OREANDA-NEWS. February 03, 2011. In 2010, the Rostov branch of Freight One increased haulage by 30% compared with 2009. From January to December of last year, Freight One shipped 16.6 million tons of cargo on the North Caucasian railway. December alone accounted for about 1.5 million tons (+45% compared with December of 2009).
From the beginning of 2010, there was an increase in the shipment of oil products (3 million tons, +58%), construction cargo (6 million tons, + 45%), and coal (1.1 million tons, +20%).
In order to provide working rolling stock, the Rostov branch of Freight One repaired 4,700 railcars, which is 2.6% more than in 2009.
