OREANDA-NEWS. February 02, 2011. Belarus’ foreign trade turnover increased 20% on the year in 2010 to USD 60.1 billion, Deputy Chief of the Belarusian State Customs Committee Sergei Borisyk told reporters.

The volume of freights transited through Belarus by rail rose 4% to 44.8 million tonnes. The total number of transit trips increased 23% to 816,000.

Customs payments transferred to the state budget reached 12.7 trillion Belarusian rubles (Br), 1% above the annual target.
