OREANDA-NEWS. February 02, 2011. In his new position, Mr. A. Shirinov will oversee procurement activities of all SOLLERS Group enterprises and will be responsible for negotiations with major suppliers of the company including SOLLERS foreign partners that supply vehicle sets for car production in Russia. Additionally, the responsibilities of Mr. A. Shirinov will include centralized management of automotive plants logistics. According to SOLLERS PLC General Director Vadim Shvetsov, the appointment of Mr. A. Shirinov is related to increasing role of commercial directorate in the company’s business. “As the automotive market recovers and sales grow across all our plants, we feel that timely supplies of all required range of materials and spare parts to production units, optimization of  procurement costs and efficient logistics become crucial to successful operations of entire company. Adil Shirinov is one of the most experienced and competent managers in the Russian automotive industry in terms of procurement and commercial activities, that's why I'm sure that he will successfully deal with his designated mission”, said V. Shvetsov.

Victor Zornikov, formerly the head of SOLLERS scientific and technical center who oversaw the development and introduction of all new modifications and special versions of Fiat Ducato vehicles, is appointed General Director of SOLLERS-Elabuga LLC, a position that was held most recently by Adil Shirinov.
