OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2011. The Arkhangelsk subsidiary of Ingosstrakh OJSIC insured the “Ivan Bobrov” vessel that belongs to Trans-NAO Shipping Company LLC.

Two agreements, hull coverage and shipowners’ liability insurance, were concluded with the company. The vessel hull coverage is provided on the conditions “With liability for complete damage and destruction” for the sum of EUR 1 mln. The limit under the shipowners liability insurance policy amounts to USD 6 mln for all claims for each insurance case.

Ingosstrakh OJSIC also provided Trans-NAO Shipping Company LLC with a “Blue Card” in accordance with the requirements of the International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage of 2001. The “Blue Card” will allow the company vessels to obtain a certificate showing the availability of insurance or other collateral necessary to get into territorial waters or the exclusive economic zone of the states – participants of the Convention.

The Arkhangelsk subsidiary of Ingosstrakh OJSIC and Trans-NAO Shipping Company LLC have cooperated for over 10 years.
