OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2011. Electronic services have become part of our everyday life: internet banking, online shopping and more. The exhibitions market is no exception in this regard.

For the first time in Kazakhstan, the domestic company Iteca has introduced electronic services - online-registration for exhibitors. Exhibitors can now register online on the company’s website, www.iteca.kz, in the “Registration” section.

This innovation enables us to improve exhibition services for exhibitors. Companies participating in two or more shows a year will especially appreciate the benefits of this service.

Exhibitors will be given a unique authorisation code allowing them to save information about their company, a description for the exhibition catalogue, a list of employees for badge printing and other information entered during online-registration. Thus, for subsequent participation in any Iteca event, the exhibitor will only need to make adjustments.

The 13-digit barcode on the badges of the exhibiting companies’ employees entitles its owner to visit any Iteca exhibition.

Iteca automated this process for exhibition visitors last year. The principle is similar: the visitor is given a unique 13-digit barcode. Once registered online, the visitor no longer needs to spend time registering for each event. Incidentally, in the near future, the company plans to implement another idea – SMS distribution of the 13-digit codes for visitors who have registered online. One advantage of online registration for visitors is free admission to all the events. The entrance ticket to Iteca’s exhibitions in Almaty costs from 200 to 500 tenge.
