OREANDA-NEWS. February 01, 2011. In 2011, transport and other infrastructure for Vostochny space port will be built in Amur region, Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov said.

"This year, we have to complete construction of the railway and highway, as well as the construction base. We also have to solve power supply issues”, Perminov said.

He added that habitants for construction workers and engineers are to be built.  However, it does not mean that Russia will leave Baikonur, Roscosmos Head noted.
