OREANDA-NEWS. January 31, 2011.National energy operator of Azerbaijan, Azerenerji OJSC, has announced a 25% rise in revenue from sales of electricity in the country.

The operator informs that in December 2010 power consumption was 581 million kWh against 555.1 million kWh in November. The figure turned out by 71.7 million kWh less than the indicator for December 2009.

At that, payment for consumed electricity made up 120.4% of its value (+25.1% against December 2009).

In 2010 overall power consumption amounted to 6.316 bn kWh, and the payment reached 94% (+10%).
