OREANDA-NEWS. January 31, 2011. As part of the action to improve the company’s image, beginning 13 January 2011 Aeroflot issued over 1,500 certificates and paid six compensations in accordance with provisions of Russian laws, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

As previously reported, the certificates may be used to buy an air ticket at Aeroflot's sales offices and representative offices or to pay for excess baggage no later than 31.12.2011.

The passengers who are eligible for the compensations but prefer not to accept the certificate may apply for a compensation according to the procedure set by Russian law.
