OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2011. In 2010, JSC  Ilim Group's locations within Ilim East Business Unit (the Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk Branches) have manufactured 1,468,000 tons of pulp and paper products. This is 3% more than in the previous year and an all-time record.

This includes 1,242,000 tons of market pulp, which is a 4% percent increase from the 2009 performance. Containerboard production remained roughly on the previous year’s level, amounting to 225,000 tons.

"We can definitely say that 2010 year results were positive — recovering demand in the market place helped us to increase production. Ust-Ilimsk mill and Bratsk mill had even managed to reach record level of production. We expect that such positive tendencies would continue in 2011 and we could continue to grow and increase our effectiveness", — said Brian McDonald, deputy CEO of Ilim Group.
