OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2011. TGC-1 releases operational results for year ended December 31, 2010.

Electricity generation (including subsidiary – Murmanskaya CHPP) for the full year amounted to 27,162 GWh (thermal generation – 14,239 GWh, hydro generation – 12,923 GWh) which is 1,5% higher than in 2009 (26,761 GWh: thermal generation – 12,801 GWh, hydro generation – 13,960 GWh).

Capacity utilization rate remained practically unchanged as compared to 2009 and amounted to 49.3% (hydroelectric stations – 50.9%, thermal power plants – 47.9%).

Useful heat output (including Murmanskaya CHPP) was 27,985 thousand GCal  - up 8.8% to 2009.
