OREANDA-NEWS. January 28, 2011. Bugulma Mechanical Plant (BMZ), which is part of TATNEFT, pays great attention to introduction of modern equipment in its operation. It helps to achieve high performance indicators and expand the number of new customers, reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

In 2010, the BMZ executed orders for big oil companies of the Russian Federation as well as for countries of the former Soviet Republics (Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan). The equipment was in the process of delivery for "Brod" refineriy in the Republic of Serbian Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Bugulma Mechanical Plant completed delivery of equipment for the start-up phase 1A1 of TANECO petrochemical and oil refineries complex. The total delivery of equipment with "BMZ" logo exceeded the amount of 3 billion rubles. Currently, the plant is preparing production facilities to manufacture the equipment for the "Hydrocracking" installation of the complex.

The order volumes for pipe production with anticorrosion coating increased. Comparing with 2009 when the plant manufactured 1,611 km of pipes, in 2010 this figure increased by 46 percent and amounted to 2,350 km. According to preliminary estimates, the volume of orders for pipe production should further grow by 15-20% compared to 2010. For the first time the orders have been received from TMK for three-layer insulation, from "Globalstroyinzhiniring" for a pipe with a "Butler" connection, etc. Thus, for the first half of the year the BMZ has got orders for full scale operation.

Bugulmia Mechanical Plant is actively developing new fields of activity. For example projects for equipment for nuclear power industry, as well as for working in the offshore zone, and column are in the process of evaluating their effectiveness.
