OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2011.  Direct losses from the abortive launch of three Glonass satellites in the end of last year stood at 2.5 billion rubles, Federal Space Agency Head Anatoly Perminov said.

The Agency and the Defense Ministry are searching for ways to accelerate the construction of three new satellites Glonass-M, he said. That would be done in the first half of 2011, he added.
