OREANDA-NEWS. January 27, 2011.  Sergey Kogogin, Director General of OJSC KAMAZ, and Ilsur Metshin, Mayor of Kazan, met and discussed a possibility to start producing the whole range of special snow-fighting vehicles.

Kazan’s Mayor plans to cooperate with KAMAZ and create a new technology of snow cleaning. “We should prepare for the next winter much better and improve our snow-cleaning technologies and equipment,” noted the mayor of the city.

If KAMAZ organizes production of the whole range of snowplow trucks based on KAMAZ chassis, it will enable municipal enterprises to service urban roads with the help of such vehicles more efficiently. The given suggestion has already been approved by Tatarstan’s President Rustam Minnikhanov.

This winter, the municipal vehicle fleet of Naberezhnye Chelny received 36 units of special snowplow vehicles produced by KAMAZ against a special order.
