OREANDA-NEWS. January 26, 2011. Monetary reserves of the National Bank of Moldova as of January 14 totaled USD 1,717.74 million, down USD 2.36 million (by 0.1%) from the previous week. At the same time, they remained practically on the level of the beginning of the year.

Monetary reserves of the National Bank of Moldova totaled USD 1,720.10 million, as of December 31 last year - USD 1,717.68 million. They grew USD 237.43 million (16%) last year.

Particularly, only in December 2010, the National Bank’s monetary reserves grew USD 106.78 million. As it reported earlier, the National Bank’s monetary reserves in 2010 exceeded all expectations of authorities and experts.
