OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2011. During the Third Robotics Festival to be held in Moscow on April 8 -9, Roscosmos and LEGO Education will offer a unique opportunity for young people.

The Robotics Forum expected to receive several thousand guests, will become the biggest Forum of this type not only in Russia, but in Europe as well. About 200 teams from 30 Russian regions will compete in technological contests.

The Festival is to take place on the eve of the 50th anniversary of Yury Gagarin’s space mission, thus most events here will be devoted to the space jubilee.
 
In the framework of the Festival, Russian Federal Space Agency and LEGO Education will host a competition for young space and intellectual gaming lovers. At LEGO’s stand of the Festival, scholars can apply their imagination to build models of spaceships, rockets, space ports and orbital stations.
Russian cosmonauts will welcome the students here on April 9.
Authors of 10 best space sample mockups will have a marvelous opportunity to visit Russian Mission Control Center and talk to cosmonauts of the International Space Station during a live session. LEGO and Roscosmos will also offer a bunch of stimulating prizes.
