OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2011. Potash fertilizer production of OJSC Belaruskali doubled on the year in 2010 to 8.6 million tonnes, a representative in the administration of the company stated.

He said the company was using 100 % of its capacity because of the revival of the world potash market.

Exports reached 6.8 million tonnes of fertilizers, up 130% on the year, and the rest was supplied to domestic consumers.

The average prices of potash fertilizers in 2010 reached about USD 300 per tonne.

The state controls 100% in Belaruskali.
