OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2011. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) initiated a case against “Apatite” OJSC upon the signs of violating Clauses 1, 5 and 8 Part 1 Article 14 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

The case was initiated upon a complaint of “Metakhim” CJSC against “Apatite” OJSC.

From the compliant of “Metakhim” CJSC it appears that “Apatite” OJSC unreasonably rejects the contract with “Metakhim” CJSC for supplying apatite concentrate in 2011. Thus, “Apatite” OJSC сcreates discriminatory conditions and prevents entry to the market of apatite concentrate.

“This case is very important because it concerns ensuring production of products by “Metakhim” CJSC”, commented the Head of a FAS Russia’s Department Teimuraz Kharitonashvili.

The case is scheduled for 8th February 2011.
