OREANDA-NEWS. January 25, 2011. Saratov Regional Arbitration Court dismissed the claim of “Chisty Gorod” Ltd. and confirmed validity of the decision and determination issued by the Office of the Federal Antimonopoly Service in the Amur region (Saratov OFAS Russia), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Earlier the Commission of Saratov OFAS Russia found that “Chisty Gorod” Ltd. had violated Clause 1 Article 14 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” and issued a determination to send letters to the customers rebutting false information regarding “Zhilischno-Kommunalnaya Technika” OJSC.

The case was initiated upon a complaint from “Zhilischno-Kommunalnaya Technika” OJSC regarding “Chisty Gorod” Ltd. “Zhilischno-Kommunalnaya Technika” OJSC and “Chisty Gorod” Ltd. are competitors on the market of waste collection and utilization.

According to the petition of “Zhilischno-Kommunalnaya Technika” OJSC, “Chisty Gorod” Ltd. distributed letters, indicating unlawful actions of “Zhilischno-Kommunalnaya Technika” OJSC, among direct service consumers in the Leninsky District of Saratov:

“At the moment garbage business in the Leninsky District of Saratov is under hostile takeover. Trying to paralyze the work of our company, “Zhilischno-Kommunalnaya Technika” OJSC uses any methods including illegal ones. “Zhilischno-Kommunalnaya Technika” OJSC continues collecting garbage although it does not have valid contracts and used legal and physical persons and homeowners associations as their hostages in political rivalry. “Chisty Gorod” Ltd. is in the centre of a large-scale provocation by “Zhilischno-Kommunalnaya Technika” OJSC. Their plan is to paralyze the work of our company by any means, without having own technical capabilities by using only leased equipment”.
