Polish Producers of Mining Equipment Studies Uzbek Market
OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2011. Embassy of Poland in Uzbekistan hosted seminar-presentation of Polish group of companies KOPEX.
The event was attended by experts of State Committee of Uzbekistan on Geology and Mineral Resources, Uzbekugol, Almalyk and Navoi mining combine, branch scientific research departments and project organizations, representatives of mass media.
KOPEX group is a recognized producer and supplier of high quality machinery and equipment, modern technologies for mining industry. Moreover, KOPEX offers full servicing of investment projects in coal industry and has 60-year experience in this sphere.
There are over 50 societies in KOPEX group rendering a wide range of services, such as: technical and economic basing of the investment project; supervision of geological examination of mining field and field assessment; opening technology development; projection of mining enterprises; production, supply and assemblage of machinery, equipment and technological systems; construction, expansion, modernization, organisation of the mining process and mine liquidation; investor's employees training and engineering assistance in investment project implementation.

Moreover, our projects pay special attention to miner's safety and environmental protection," said Marek Moron, Regional Manager of the Kopex S A in South and Central Asia in his interview to our correspondent.
To be noted, in 2010 the forecasted indexes for "black gold" mining were performed for 100%, while the plan for the production of consumer goods was fulfilled for 188.6%. The volume of paid services was also over fulfilled for 105%. The volume of localized products made up 1.78 billion soums.
Experts predict a significant increase of the demand for coal that will cause further coal industry modernization, application of new equipment and innovative technologies. In this context local miners were extremely interested in offers of Polish companies.
During the event representatives of Polish company and Uzbek miners discussed further cooperation. Polish guests stressed that their purpose is not only supplying equipment and experts training, but also establishment of subsidiary company. The participants of the presentation agreed that such events were extremely fruitful for establishment of mutually beneficial contacts and strengthening partner relations in the future.
