Rosinter Acquired T.G.I. Fridays in Warsaw
OREANDA-NEWS. January 24, 2011. OJSC Rosinter Restaurants Holding (Company, Rosinter), the leading casual dining restaurants chain in Russia and CIS (RTS and MICEX ticker: ROST) announces the purchase of the restaurant under the trade mark T.G.I. Friday’s™ in the downtown of Warsaw (Poland), reported the press-centre of Rosinter Restaurants.
The bargain allowed OJSC Rosinter Restaurants Holding to become the sole franchisee of TGI Friday's ™ in Poland and thus the company received an exclusive opportunity to develop the brand in this area. The restaurant is located in the Atrium Plaza shopping center and during the last 12 years it had been operating under the management of American Bistro Poland by the franchising agreement with Carlson Restaurants Worldwide. Restaurant’s floor area equals 305 м2, not considering 130 м2 of summer terrace, which is open for the guests from May to September. The restaurant can serve to 236 guests at once.
This T.G.I. Friday’s™ became the sixth restaurant in Poland by Rosinter. As of today, Rosinter is also managing IL Patio and Planet Sushi in Warsaw, Planet Sushi in Wroclaw, T.G.I. Friday’s™ and Planet Sushi in Poznan.
