According to the results of the annual contest "100 best goods of Russia" modular-type AVG-BM air coolers used in oil refineries and manufactured by the Bugulma Mechanical Plant (BMZ) of TATNEFT, have been included in the list of laureates and winners of the republican and federal stages of the contest in the nomination "Industrial and technology products", reported the press-centre of TATNEFT.

In 2010 the modular design AVG-BG air coolers were manufactured and delivered to the TANECO Oil Refining and Petrochemical Plants Complex. In the days preceding the New Year a regular vessel was being assembled at shop number 1 of BMZ for Tatneftegazpererabotka Administration of TATNEFT. The previous one had been delivered to Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteorgsintez.

BMZ of TATNEFT won this competition also in 2009 for chain drives manufactured by the plant. Application of long-stroke balancer free chain drives in sucker rod pumping units significantly reduces operating costs for oil production and they are installed in the wells, which operation is complicated by production of extra-viscous oil and formation of water-oil emulsion, salt and wax deposition on downhole pumping equipment. The same also refers to small diameter wells and to the wells with additional production casing, as well as to the ones operating in a periodic pumping mode.
