OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2011. According to the State Statistics of Ukraine for 2010 gross domestic product grew by 4.1%. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said this today during a roundtable "2025: the new demographic challenges for Ukraine.
"Today the State Statistics updated GDP estimate. Previously it has increased by 2010 to 4,1%. It was previously announced inflation (9,1%), industrial output (11%). In general, all these projections coincided with those laid down by the Government in the budget, macroeconomic development,"- declared the Prime Minister.
According to him, the whole performances in 2010 are satisfactory and demonstrate the economic recovery, but do not forget about the existing problems that are primarily related to the need for a huge debt: "Imagine, this year we must pay 88 billion UAH. If the money we sent to developing countries - which would increase the GDP we have. This is half of the investments.
If we had not calculated the debts and sent the money for development - we are by these resources would get in 2011 at least 5-6% growth ", - Mykola Azarov reported.
