OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2011. BMK Brockinger-Mobel-Komponenten GmbH has acquired a minority holding in Interprint Samara, Russia, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.

In July 2010, Interprint acquired this company, which was still trading under the name of Coveright RUS, from the Coveright Surfaces Group and its joint-venture partner Jacobs Trading Ltd. This transaction was subsequently completed after the official approval by FAS, the Russian Cartel Authority. The company is one of the leading manufacturers of melamine films in the Russian market.

The objective of this new long-term joint venture between Interprint und BMK is to support the sustained success of Interprint Samara, in which BMK will make important contributions in technology and innovation.

BMK GmbH is one of the European market leaders in the impregnation of decor paper, overlays, counteracting paper, HPL/CPL film and KT film for the furniture and laminate flooring industries.

The Interprint Group is a subsidiary of Wrede Industrieholding in Arnsberg and is one of the internationally leading decor printers. Interprint’s decors decorate the surfaces of numerous derived timber products that are further processed into furniture and laminate flooring or used in interior furnishing.
