OREANDA-NEWS. January 21, 2011. FAS Russia is considering a petition of “South Urals Mining and Processing Company” Ltd. (location: Novotroitsk, 5.4 km, No.5 West, the Orenburg region, 462360; main activities – secondary processing of ferrous metals) on acquiring 99% shares of the authorized capital of “Start” Ltd. (location: 1, Stroitelei St., Sokolovskaya station, Schelkovo, the Moscow region, 141100; main activities – production of ready-mixed concrete), Registration No. 66970 of 29th December 2010, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

As of 30th September 2010, the overall book value of the assets of the Buyer’s group of persons exceeds seven billion Rubles.

Governed by Article 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, the Federal Antimonopoly Service considered the petition and extended the period for its consideration for two months in order to be able to further examine the petition and obtain additional information necessary for its objective and comprehensive consideration.

Interested persons can submit information to the Federal Antimonopoly Service about possible effects of the transaction upon the state of competition.
