OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2011. JSC Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegaz Board of Directors has approved Aydar Sarvarov as the General Director of the Company starting from January 12, 2011.

Aydar Sarvarov was born in Kazan in 1968. In 1992, he graduated from the Tomsk Polytechnic University with a degree in oil and gas well drilling. In 2006, he received a legal education in the Yuzhno-Uralsk State University. In 2010, Aydar Sarvarov was awarded a PhD degree in Engineering.

From 1992 to 2010, Aydar Sarvarov passed a long way from the driller's assistant to Deputy CEO and Chief Engineer of TNK-Nizhnevartovsk.

The Board of Directors reviewed the early termination of Gennady Lyubin's powers in the capacity of Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegas General Director due to his transfer to other work.

Gazpromneft-Noyabrskneftegas is one of the major producing facilities of the Gazprom Neft Group. The company operates in oil and gas production sector in the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Districts. Since its foundations, the company's oil production has exceeded 700 mln. tons.
