Turkmenistan-Romania Parliamentary Group Held Meeting
OREANDA-NEWS. January 20, 2011. A meeting with Christian Mihai Adomnitei, a deputy of the Parliament of Romania, Chairman of the Turkmenistan-Romania parliamentary group of friendship, who was on a visit in the Turkmen capital, was held at the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.
During the meeting held in a businesslike and constructive atmosphere the representative of the legislative body of the friendly country was informed in detail on the priorities of the state policy implemented successfully under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Those speaking at the meeting emphasized that the results of democratic transformations and fundamental reforms taking place in our country illustrated vividly the success of the progressive and prudent policy of the Turkmen leader, who had received the international title of the Man of the Year according to the decision of the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of the Academy of Sciences of Romania.
The aspects of inter-parliamentary collaboration, which had been brought to a qualitatively new level in recent years, were a focus of a particular discussion. Mr. Christian Mihai Adomnitei focused with satisfaction on the progressive nature of the Turkmen legislation based on the fundamental principle “a state for the people” formulated by the Turkmen leader at the dawn of the epoch of new Revival.
Focusing on the existing profound potential of the Turkmen-Romanian dialogue fostered successfully in many fields, including at the level of parliamentarians of Turkmenistan and Romania, the meeting participants expressed the intention to continue the effective intergovernmental dialogue in the interests of peoples of the two friendly countries.
Mr. Christian Mihai Adomnitsa was received at the Government and the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan. The guest will have the meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
