OREANDA-NEWS. January 19, 2011. Ingosstrakh OJSIC paid 2.5 million rubles due to loss of crop to Studenetskoe LLC, located in Khvorostyansksy district of Samara region.  

Under the terms of contract crops, winter wheat and rye on total area 2,320 hectares, had been insured against loss or partial loss to the amount of 11.1 million rubles.  

Insured events were freezing and drought, which led to a partial loss of crop. It was necessary to carry out expert examinations in order to establish the amount of loss, after that the events have been recognized as insured accident, and Ingosstrakh OJSIC paid insurance indemnity to the company.  

The assured crop had been the subject of pledge of Samara regional branch of Russian Agricultural Bank within received loan.  

Ingosstrakh OJSIC and Studenetskoe LLC have been cooperating in the field of agro-industrial insurance since 2009. During this time the assured items were the supplies of agricultural commodities, farm machinery, as well as the future harvest of agricultural crops.
