OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2011. In the first half of 2011 the construction industry will come to pre-crisis level of building.  The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov at a meeting to expedite the construction of social housing.  He said that in 2010, thanks to prudent policy of the Government failed to start work building complex, but the pre-crisis level of construction Ukraine has not yet appeared.

"For 2010 we have achieved roughly 90-92% of the building in 2007.  This is us, definitely not happy.  We consider that the measures taken - insufficient.  So I want to listen directly to those who build.  And to hear their views on how we in the first half of 2011 to turn the volume of construction on pre-crisis level ", - underlined the Prime Minister, addressing leaders of the building complex of the capital.

He said that in 2010 built 9.3 million square meters of housing.  It's nearly three million more than in 2009.  However, Mykola Azarov noted that in practical terms it is only 510 apartment buildings throughout the country.  In particular, in Kiev put 44 houses, but in Zhitomir and Kirovograd regions only one house.  "It is in our heads RSA ask: how they organized their work within a year built in only one house?  This is a concrete indicator of the effectiveness of local government ", - the Prime Minister said.

Head of Government noted that Parliament will adopt the Law of Ukraine "On city planning regulation" significantly simplify the business environment in the construction industry.  He asked the leaders of construction companies that the Government can do more for deregulation in construction.  Mykola Azarov promised that all relevant proposals will be considered.
