OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2011. OJSC Belaruskali in 2010 increased potash export 130% on the year to 6.8 million tonnes, a representative in the company stated.

The increase is attributed to the revival of the global potash market.

“However, after the crisis, potash prices have been growing slower than we had expected,” he added.

In 2010, world potash prices averaged USD 300 per tonne.

The state controls 100% in OJSC Belaruskali. The company employs about 20,000 personnel.
