OREANDA-NEWS. January 18, 2011. UVK Logistics and Caravan REC (Adventis LLC) signed an agreement on the continuation of cooperation until 2013. Under this agreement, UVK will supply warehousing and transportation logistics solutions.

 In the summer of 2010 Caravan REC chain announced a tender for logistics services. All large logistics companies operating in Ukraine submitted their applications for participation in the tender. Bidders had to meet a number of strict criteria, including reliability of deliveries, order fulfillment timeframes, existence of regional infrastructure, high quality of warehouse facilities, and most importantly, strict standardized approach to the provision of logistics services. UVK won the tender by fulfilling all the conditions to the fullest extent. Positive performance results shown by UVK in 2009 under the previous agreement with Caravan REC had a substantial effect on the selection of the winner.

Under the current agreement UVK continues to provide distribution center organization services at the UVK logistics terminal at Stolychne Chaussee, including dealings with suppliers, all warehousing operations, additional warehousing services, deliveries, processing of returns, etc. Substantial qualitative changes were made in the rules and procedures, and the commercial terms and conditions were adjusted.
