OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2011. The OMK-Uchastiye Charitable Foundation will conduct a charitable campaign, Share Your Smile, at the Nikulin Moscow Circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard Saturday December 25. The performance will begin at 11:00 a.m. Special guests of the campaign are little patients of the Research Institute of Pediatric Oncology and Hematology, children from boarding schools and social shelters based in the Moscow and Nizhni Novgorod regions, and children of United Metallurgical Company employees.

Guests will be met by a brass band of Santa Clauses at the circus entrance and entertained by clowns and animators in the lobby. Children will be given New Year presents by the Snow Maiden and Santa Clause. Young spectators will enjoy a sweet buffet and participate in New Year workshops, where every child will have a chance to make a fir-tree decoration and put it on one of the seven fir-trees. After the campaign, the trees will be presented to seriously ill children in hospitals. The circus lobby will house a trade fair where children's works dedicated to the New Year and fairytales will be available for sale.

"This campaign is purported to raise money for the medical treatment of two boys," said Irina Sedykh, the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the OMK-Uchastiye Foundation. "They are Daniil Okhotnikov, aged 10, and Nikolay Kolokolov, aged 11. They are both seriously ill and need complicated surgery." Over the period of two years from the time of its establishment, the OMK-Uchastiye Foundation allocated more than 14 million rubles to help seriously ill children. These donations helped to save dozens of children’s lives.
