OREANDA-NEWS. January 17, 2011. SOCAR President received the delegation led by Mr. Michael Borelli, Total E&P senior vice president for Continental Europe and Central Asia. Saluting the guests, Mr. Abdullayev congratulated them on occasion of the Christmas and New Year.

He estimated 2010 as a successful year for country’s economy, spoke about accomplishments achieved, and noted the role of foreign partners. Mr. Borelli expressed his confidence that 2011 would be more successful for oil and gas industry of Azerbaijan. The issues of the current state and prospects of development of joint projects between two countries were discussed at the meeting.

The parties expressed their gratitude on works carried out as well as spoke about future objects.
